Mormon Temple or Mormon Temples
December 23rd, 2000 Summit
I got an email from Paul Allen (local entrepreneur) that said the following: “I would like to ask a favor from each of you, if you have a website or a blog.
Could you possibly write something about Mormon Temple or Mormon Temples and link to www.ldschurchtemples.com?
That site ranks #9 on the query “Mormon Temple” in Google, but we hope to get it higher soon, since there are some really bad sites higher up.”
It is important that people wanting to know about LDS (Mormon) Temples receive that education from the proper source and the worst place to get information is from people that are enemies to the LDS Church. Let’s support wholesome things. So, I would like to pass on this request to anyone else that would like to join in. There are also other links that you could add about Mormon Temples like www.lds.org/temples/.
Now, you might ask, “how does this relate to outdoors stuff?” Well, there are three things. One, I love the outdoors and I am LDS and I know plenty of other people who are LDS and are outdoorsy. Two, in the past, at times when there was no official structure that could be used for temple purposes, then people would use the mountains as a substitute. And three, doesn’t it just make sense? I sure think so.
